Guided self placement is a process that helps you choose the best course for you. You can explore each of our English classes, look at typical assignments and readings, and choose the class that is the best fit for you.

- Anyone with a recent cumulative high school GPA of 2.6 or higher is automatically eligible to take English 1A.
- If you don’t have a recent high school GPA, you have two options.
- You can take the Accuplacer test to place you.
- Or, you can use this website! Yes, you can make the decision about what class is best for you and your success.
